Dolly M. Miller, 66, of Shawnee, passed away Sunday, Feb. 11, 2018 in Shawnee.

Dolly M. Miller, 66, of Shawnee, passed away Sunday, Feb. 11, 2018, in Shawnee.

She was born March 22, 1951, to Louie and Gloria (Turner) Hurst in Ravia.

Dolly was raised in Ravia and attended Ravia Public Schools. She moved to Wilmington, Delaware, for many years, later moving to Oakville, West Virginia. In 1977 she moved to the Tecumseh area where she has since lived.

Dolly worked at Tecumseh Sunset Estates, Shawnee Care Center, Grace Rescue Mission and Jesus House in Oklahoma, where she loved taking care of those in need.

Dolly was a member of Countryside Church, where she was very active. Her love of God was the highlight of her life. She loved serving the Lord and her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Deborah Williams; son-in-law, Daniel F. Williams Jr.; and granddaughter, Jenny May Thompson; and one brother.

Those left to cherish her memory are two sons, Danny Ray Weeks II of Oklahoma City and Lawrence Weeks of Crawfordsville, Florida; eight grandchildren, Sheela Williams, Sheena Williams, Kalem Williams, Cody Weeks, Alayna Weeks, Matthew Williams, Casey Weeks and Danny Ray Weeks III; 10 great-grandchildren, Caleb, Kayla, Kyla, Jocelyn, Aubree, Mason, Alicia, Heather, Sophie and Breanna; one great-great-grandchild, Genisis; one sister, Linda Kuhn; and other loving extended family and friends.

Visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 14, and continue through service.

Service will be 2 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 15, at Countryside Church with Reverend Jerry Kuhn, Capitol Hill Full Gospel Church in Moore, officiating. Burial will follow at Black Cemetery in Pink under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
