In the hilarious and often touching Off-Broadway hit, a new lease on life is so close that 10 hard luck Texans can touch it. Under a scorching sun for days on end, armed with nothing but hope, humor and ambitions, they fight to keep at least one hand on a brand new truck in order to win it in a contest. Inspired by true events of the 1997 documentary of the same name, the Tony and Drama Desk Award nominee has found an audience all across America.
"Hands On A Hard Body" will open SLT's new season performing September 21 through 29, 2018. Also in the 2018-2019 season, SLT will present "Peter and the Starcatcher" in November; "Sweeney Todd" in February 2019 and "Noises Off" in April 2019. Season tickets are available online at shawneelittletheatre.com.
