From Shawnee Emergency Management:

Another round of thunderstorms is again possible this evening.

Storms with damaging winds and large hail will move into northwest Oklahoma late this evening. Storms should expand and produce mainly a damaging wind threat into the night as they progress eastward. The greatest threat will be across roughly the northern half of Oklahoma.

For the northwestern two-thirds of Pottawatomie County there is a slight risk of severe weather ( 2 on a scale of 5). For the southeastern one-third of the county there is a marginal risk ( 1 on a scale of 5).

Best time for the storms to affect Pottawatomie County is between 10 PM and 2 AM.

Heavy rainfall could lead to localized flooding, but fortunately the storms will move through fairly quickly limiting the overall flood threat.
