LaJune Goss passed on Memorial Day, May 28, 2018, at the age of 78.

LaJune graduated from Prague High School in 1958 and from Cottey College, in Nevada, Missouri, in 1960.

LaJune was born in Ada and lived in Maud, then moved to Prague. After marrying, she moved to McCook, Nebraska, for 19 years before moving to Eufaula. She moved to Oklahoma City almost three years ago.

LaJune Goss was preceded in death by her loving parents Alvie Newton “Jack” Goss and Juanita Proffitt Goss, Prague.

She is survived by her two daughters, Marita Morris, Oklahoma City, and Michelle Morris Spieker and her husband, Tom Spieker, Dana Point, California; five grandchildren, Andrew Whetstone, Denver, Colorado; Michelle Whetstone, Oklahoma City;Christa Whetstone, Oklahoma City; Ella Spieker and Kai Spieker, both of Dana Point, California; two great-grandsons, Ethan Whetstone, Norman; and Zylus Johnson, Oklahoma City. She is also survived by her two sisters, Jackie Goss and Peggy Goss, both of Midwest City; and her nephews, Gary Aylor and his wife, DeLana Aylor, Oklahoma City; Mike Aylor and Trisha Dyer Midwest City; and Chad Haberman and his wife, Connie Haberman, Okemah; and second nephews, Jared Aylor and his wife, Kelly Aylor, Oklahoma City; Zach Aylor, Midwest City; and Tyler Aylor and his wife, Whitney Aylor, and their son, Avery, Littleton, Colorado; and second nieces, Rachel, Jordan, and Taylor Haberman, Okemah.

We are celebrating her life Friday, June 1, 9 a.m. Viewing will be 10:30 a.m. Memorial service, with lunch following the service, will be at Reflection Pointe, 10900 N. Eastern Ave, Oklahoma City. Feel free to wear bright colors.
