A public discussion on opioid abuse will be 5:30 to 7 p.m. Thursday, July 18 at the CPN Cultural Heritage Center, 1899 S. Gordon Cooper Drive.

The event, which is free and open to the public, will be a panel discussion to learn about the signs and symptoms of opioid abuse, and how to help yourself or a love one, as well as learn to obtain lifesaving overdose medications and treatment resources. Free pizza will be part of the event.
