Former Oklahoma Baptist University basketball player Steven Green signed a contract to continue his basketball career overseas last weekend.

Green inked a one-year deal with the Lugano Tigers of the Swiss Basketball League.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Last season, Green appeared in six games for the Northern Arizona Suns of the G-League. Over those six games, Green averaged 4.8 minutes per contest, 1.2 points per game and shot 42.9 percent from the field.

During the 2015-2016 season at OBU, Green finished third in the conference in scoring with 17.9 points per game, earning him All-Great American Conference honors.

Green scored an OBU career-high 33 points against East Central University in 2016.

Green's production dipped his senior season as he battled nagging injuries throughout the second half of the season. He finished the 2016-2017 campaign averaging 11 points per game.

During his junior college tenure, Green won the NJCAA DII National Championship at Phoenix College (AZ).

As a member of the Bison, Green had 685 points in 46 games over two seasons for a 14.9 points per game.
