TUTTLE — After losing a 4-3 decision to Drumright, Tecumseh rebounded for a 13-0 triumph over Colbert Friday at the Chisholm Festival.
Tecumseh needed just 2 ½ innings (run rule) to rip Colbert. The Lady Savages rolled up 12 hits with Channing Scallorn, Harley Sturm, Emily Bingham and Taylor Frizzell posting two apiece.
Haylee Cobbs, Harley Sturm, Bingham and Scallorn doubled. Ayzia Shirey tripled.
Cobbs drove in a team-high four runs while Scallorn notched three.
Sturm gave up two hits in three innings. She walked two and fanned two.
Drumright broke a 3-3 tie with Tecumseh with a run in the top of the sixth. Scallorn, who took the pitching loss, allowed four runs (three earned) on an eight hitter. She fanned two.
Scallorn, the leadoff hitter, and Bingham, the four-hole hitter, had three hits apiece. Bingham rang up a double, Tecumseh’s only extra-base hit.
Tecumseh, 4-4, will be home against Newcastle Monday in a 5 p.m. varsity/JV doubleheader.
