Last weekend brought a great start to the cross country season for several area runners. Several area teams participated in the Carl Albert Titan Cross Country Invitational.

In the girl's 2A-4A race, the Seminole team came in third, but it was McLoud senior Lelise Hands who won the individual race with a personal best time just one step from breaking the 13 minute mark.
