DALE — Madison Gabeau permitted three hits and walked just one Friday as Meeker trimmed Bethel 4-1 at the McLoud Tournament.
Gabeau fanned five in the 4 ½ inning contest. She walked just one batter.
Kaycee Babek had Meeker’s sole hit, a single, but the Lady Bulldogs were the recipients of 10 base on balls. Meeker broke a 1-1 tie when three straight batters coaxed bases-loaded walks in the third inning.
Rian Gamble, Bethel’s leadoff hitter, went 2 for 2 and scored in the top of the first inning.
Teammate Madison Roberson had a single.
Bethel dropped to 9-11-1. The Lady Wildcats are scheduled to play two tournament games today at Dale. Weather permitting, Bethel and Konawa will hook up at 1 p.m., followed by Bethel-McLoud at 2:30.
Meeker is 9-6.
