PRAGUE — Taylor Hodges cracked a third-inning grandslam Thursday as Prague riddled Washington 9-2.
Hodges added a run-scoring single as Prague improved to 19-7 by outhitting the visitors 11-3.
Beth Denney went 2 for 4 with a home run, double, two runs batted in and two runs. Denney also took the pitching victory with a seven-inning three-hitter. She fanned three and walked three.
Prague led 9-0 before Washington scored twice in the seventh.
Diana Manning and Brittany Harwell finished with two hits apiece. Manning drove in a run on a sacrifice fly.
Both teams committed one error.
Prague is slated to entertain Meeker at 1 p.m. Saturday.
