OKLAHOMA CITY — Tecumseh combined 11 hits with seven walks and five McGuinness errors to trample the Irish 18-1 Wednesday.
The game was stopped on the run rule after four innings. Tecumseh registered six-run binges in the third and fourth innings.
Emily Bingham, Channing Scallorn and Harley Sturm registered a double apiece for the victors. Sturm was 3 for 4 with two runs batted in and also scored. Taylor Frizzell, Scallorn and Bingham had two hits with Frizzell the RBI leader with three.
Ayzia Shirey led the Lady Savages with four runs scored. Scallorn scored three times and Haylee Cobbs and Lauren Taylor scored twice.
Sturm, the winning pitcher, allowed three hits and whiffed five.
Tecumseh, 11-10, will participate in the Dale Festival at FireLake Friday and Saturday. Tecumseh will take on Sulphur at 1:30 Friday on Field 4, then meet Morris at 10 a.m. Saturday on Field 2.
