Bailey Enright, aided by an efficient Shawnee offense, tossed a four-hitter Thursday in a 6-2 win over visiting Skiatook.

Enright surrendered four hits, including a 2-run roundtriper in the top of the second inning. That gave Skiatook its only lead of the game at 2-1. Enright compiled six strikeouts and walked just one batter.

Brittany Harmon sparked Shawnee’s 10-hit assault with two doubles, one of which drove in a run in the fifth.

Laynie Rimer added a single and run-scoring double in the fifth. Stormee Reed was 2 for 3 – a RBI single in he second and a run-scoring two-bagger in the fifth.

Hallie Wilson of Shawnee went 3 for 4, all singles, while Tatum Sparks recorded a run-scoring single in the first.

Kali Kasterke drove in a run in the fifth on a single.

Shawnee improved to 18-7 overall and 8-3 in District 5A-3.

Coach David Rolette’s squad will engage district foe Coweta at 5:30 Monday in Shawnee. The Lady Wolves will also be home for three straight non-district matchups — Carl Albert Tuesday, Guthrie Thursday and Piedmont Friday.
