DALE — Lacey Savage and Sara Lock blasted 2-run home runs Thursday, igniting Dale to an 11-0 victory over Crescent.
Savage homered in the third after Lock went downtown in the second.
Danyn Lang doubled and singled twice as Dale racked up 12 hits in four innings. The game was stopped after 4 ½ innings on the run rule.
Rylie Premo racked up two singles and Emmie Idleman doubled as Dale went to 29-3.
Delanie Manning, the winning hurler, allowed just one hit, fanned eight and walked one in five innings to up her record to 20-3.
Dale opened with five runs in the first inning, then applied three-run spots in the second and third innings.
Dale is scheduled to play at 4:30 today at Bethel.
The Lady Pirates will play host to Purcell at 4:30 Tuesday, then begin regional play Thursday at Dale along with Frederick, Stroud and Hobart. Just one of those squads will keep their season alive. Dale will open the regional against Frederick.
