Coach Emma LaChappell has the Tecumseh Lady Savages playing as well as they have in years.

Tecumseh is ranked No. 16 in 4A and improved to 15-6 with a 3-0 sweep over Seminole Thursday night.

The Lady Savages also got the two seed in their upcoming regional. It won't be an easy test for Tecumseh, as they have to travel to No. 2 Victory Christian who is 23-4 and only has losses to two Edmond teams, Bishop Kelley and 4A No. 1 Christian Heritage. Tecumseh will be at the Victory Christian regional with Rejoice Christian and Seminole.

Thursday night, the Lady Savages won the first set with an easy 25-11 win. In the second set, the teams were tied 10-10 before Emily Ridley served the Lady Savages to a lead. After they got the serve back, McKenna Anthony picked up a couple of her four aces on the night to extend the lead before getting a 25-17 win. In the third set, they were tied 16-16 when THS got the side out. Bailey Swanner - who led everyone with eight kills - served the Lady Savages to a 22-16 lead before they cruised to a sweep.

Logan Morse had four kills in the match and played good defense. Anthony led the team with 18 assists. Emily Ridley, Jenna Jones and Natalie Whiteman also made some great plays for Tecumseh in the win.
