MARLOW — Prague held a 1-0 lead after one inning Friday but that was its high point as Marlow went on to produce a 6-1 triumph in a Regional 1 Tournament elimination clash.

Marlow, which outhit Prague 10-1, scored two runs in the fifth and four runs in the sixth.

Beth Denney absorbed the pitching loss, allowing 10 hits. She registered five strikeouts and four walks. Marlow cracked three home runs.

Prague didn’t draw a walk and stranded just two runners.

Josi Goodman, who scored Prague’s run off a Diana Mannings bunt, was hit by a pitch and stole a base.

Prague opened the tournament Thursday. The Lady Red Devils fell to Tishomingo 3-2 in 11 innings before temporarily staving off elimination with a 10-3 win over Jones.
