Clarence Perkins, of Shawnee, died on Monday, Oct. 1, 2018, in Shawnee.

Clarence was born May 2, 1928, in Seminole County to his parents, Ernie and Ethie (Young) Perkins. He received his education at Prairie View School in Seminole County. Clarence proudly served in the U.S. Army after World War II.

He married Mary Sue Ham on July 13, 1974.

Clarence worked at Ehrsam Manufacturing Company in Enterprise, Kansas, and at Tinker Air Force Base.

Clarence was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Mary; his brother and sister-in-law Ted and Lucy, and his brother Charles.

A graveside service will be held Friday, Oct. 5, at 3 p.m. in Tecumseh Cemetery.

Services are under the direction of Walker Funeral Service in Shawnee.
