LONE GROVE – The Tecumseh Lady Savages still have a chance at a Class 4A state tournament berth after going 1-1 on the first day of regionals Thursday.

The Lady Savages beat Bridge Creek 10-1 in the first game and lost 10-2 against Lone Grove Thursday evening.

Channing Scallorn went 2 for 4 from the leadoff spot. She also scored two runs. Ayzia Shirey went 2 for 4 with an RBI. Bingham scored one run and drove in one on three hits. Taylor Frizzel had two RBIs on two hits. Shanlee Cranford had one hit and one RBI.

Delaney Brown scored two runs but did not register a hit. Kylee Akehurst and Haylee Cobbs both scored one run apiece.

Tecumseh committed two errors in game one while Bridge Creek committed five.

Tecumseh will face the winner of the Elk City vs. Bridge Creek game at noon Friday.
