TUTTLE – The Bethel Lady Wildcats fell behind early and were unable to claw their way back, losing 12-5 to Byng Thursday afternoon.

Bethel scored one run in the second, three in the sixth and one in the seventh. Byng jumped out to an early lead, scoring six runs in the second, two in the fourth, two in the sixth and two in the seventh.

Jordyn Zachary went 3 for 3 at the plate. She also drove in one run.

Kennedy Gregory also had three hits for the Lady Wildcats. She drove in one run. Lilla Wade and Peyton Meiler each added an RBI in the loss. Reanna McGowen also went 2 for 4.

Zachary pitched a complete game in the loss. She gave up 12 earned runs and struck out six.

The loss concludes Bethel's season. They finished with a record of 14-18.
