Utility workers from Oklahoma are working in Florida this week as part of Hurricane Michael recovery efforts.

Gaylord News, a Washington reporting project of the Gaylord College of Journalism and Mass Communication at The University of Oklahoma,dispatched a team of reporters to Panama City, Florida, where they are covering ongoing recovery efforts. Crews from Oklahoma's PSO, OG&E and Edmond electric — and others from around the country — are working to restore power to the devastated Gulf Coast.
