OKMULGEE — Cameron Gunville produced six touchdowns and over 300 yards rushing Friday night as Seminole bombarded Okmulgee 74-24 to conclude the regular season.
Gunville recorded touchdown runs of 63, 20, 9, 2, 43 and 11 yards as Seminole compiled 484 rushing yards on 39 carries.
Junior Kieran Marshall notched touchdown scampers of 62 and 23 yards as Seminole finished 8-2 overall and 5-2 in District 3A-3.
A Seminole spokesman said the Chieftains, by virtue of a fourth-place district finish, will travel to Berryhill, the 3A-4 champion, Friday in the opening round of the playoffs.
Quarterback Cade Hammond of Seminole was 4 of 9 in the passing department, including a 24-yard scoring pass to Saybion Battles.
Also scoring for Seminole were Hunter Wurtz on a 30-yard punt return and Cale Ashcraft on a 6-yard run.
Justin Hamilton of Seminole intercepted two passes.
Seminole didn’t punt in the game.
Okmulgee rushed for just 72 yards on 13 attempts and was accurate on just 12 of 32 passes.
Seminole led 54-18 at the intermission.
