EARLSBORO — Three Earlsboro girls finished in double figures Friday night in a 50-35 season-opening triumph over Roff.
Brianna Nadeau topped Earlsboro’s scoring with 15 points, followed by Abbey McCarroll with 13 and Hannah Lena with 11.
Roff jumped out in front 16-7 after one quarter before Earlsboro took command with a 20-5 spurt for a 27-21 advantage at the midway point. Earlsboro outscored Roff 10-5 in the third quarter.
Earlsboro was 8 of 12 from the free-throw line. Roff was 7 of 13.
“We played really good defense from the second quarter on,” Earlsboro coach Mike Harris said.
Earlsboro’s next action will be tonight at Pittsburg.
Earlsboro’s boys also launched their season with a 50-47 victory over Roff. No other details were available.
