Stonewall 65, Earlsboro 51

The Lady Wildcats fell behind early to the Lady Longhorns, before making up ground in the third quarter. Stonewall took a 21-11 lead after the first quarter and maintained the lead into the half. Leading the charge for Stonewall was post Alexis Chamberlain. Chamberlain scored 15 of her game-high 26 points in the first half. Brianna Nadeau didn’t back down in the post for the Lady Wildcats, She found the going good in the paint, scoring 23 points in the contest.

Earlsboro chipped away at the Stonewall lead in the third, cutting the deficit to 44-40 heading into the final quarter. Back to back treys by Lacey Haynes and Hannah Lena sparked Earlsboro. Haynes finished with 11 points on the night.

Stonewall held off the Lady wildcats in the fourth and converted 6-of-9 free throws down the stretch to earn the win.

Earlsboro drops to 1-2 on the season and will host Varnum on Friday night.
