BETHEL ACRES — Chandler’s girls and boys’ squads shook off Thursday first-round losses with Friday victories at the First United Classic.

The Lady Lions received scoring from eight players in upending Casady 46-40. Morgan Fowble was Chandler’s leading scorer with 11, followed by Lauren Masquat and Jaelynn Robertson with nine apiece.

Madesti McConnell headed Casady’s scoring with 21. Jordyn Turner chipped in with 11.

Chandler led 24-20 at halftime.

Boys

Chandler outscored Lone Grove in every quarter on the way to a 66-52 triumph.

Hutch Underwood sparked Chandler with 28 points and Tanner German contributed 19. Aaron Elmore and Chabon Anderson added nine and eight points respectively.

Chandler led 36-31 at the intermission and 51-40 entering the final quarter.

Chandler’s girls will play in today’s 1 p.m. consolation championship.The Lions will play in the 2:30 consolation finals.
