Glen Edward Denwalt, 58, of Fanshawe, Oklahoma, passed away Sunday, Dec. 2, 2018, in Idabel, Oklahoma.

Glen Edward Denwalt, 58, of Fanshawe, Oklahoma, passed away Sunday, Dec. 2, 2018, in Idabel, Oklahoma.

Glen was born March 18, 1960, in Oklahoma City, to Alvin & Karen (Farris) Denwalt.

Glen was self-employed, a diesel mechanic, truck driver, owner/operator of car lot and body shop. He loved animals and they loved him. He loved to fish and weld. Glen helped many people in need; he was a tough but caring man who was your friend ‘til the end. He was preceded in death by his parents; his grandparents and other family members.

Survivors include his wife of 24 years, Stephanie Ellis; son, Charles Henry Denwalt Jones of Ripley, Tennessee; daughters, Shauna and Misty of Shawnee; brothers, Jeff Savage of Healdton, Oklahoma, Dwayne Denwalt of Eufaula, Oklahoma; sister, Gloria Denwalt of Shawnee; mother-in-law, Alyce Ellis of Seminole, Oklahoma; other relatives, loved ones and friends.

Services will be 2 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 12, at Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau, Oklahoma, with Rev. Jr. Cliff, Lester Wilson and David Collier officiating.

The family will be at the funeral home on Tuesday evening, Dec. 11, from 5-7 p.m. to visit with relatives and friends.
