Raymond Kerbo of Oklahoma City joined his heavenly father as he passed away peacefully at home with his loving wife and three children by his side.

Raymond Kerbo of Oklahoma City joined his heavenly father as he passed away peacefully at home with his loving wife and three children by his side.

Ray was born in Binger, Oklahoma, where he grew up, attended school and met his wife Joyce Rider, with whom he was happily married for 67 years. From 1955 until his retirement in 1992 he worked at the Safeway & Homeland Warehouse where he worked as Grocery Warehouse Manager. For many years he served both as chairman of the Board at Oklahoma Federal Credit Union and as a Deacon at Evangel Temple Assembly of God, later attending Lakeside Assembly of God. He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army, where he served in Germany during the Korean War Era.

Ray was the third of five children born to Floyd and Floy Kerbo, along with his older sisters Irene (Vance) and Wanda (Whittaker) and his younger brothers Leroy and Harold.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce; son, Kevin Kerbo of Kansas City, Missouri; twin daughters, Stephanie Wilson and her husband Scott of Oklahoma City and Stacey Masopust and her husband Patrick of Oklahoma City; five grandchildren: Elizabeth Kerbo, Chris Kerbo, Sawyer Wilson, Shane Wilson and Byron Kerbo; and one great grandchild, Makenna.

Services will be Wednesday Dec. 12 at 2 p.m. at Memorial Park Funeral Home.
