SHAWNEE - Shawnee's swimmers swept Duncan Thursday night in a meet at the Troy and Dolly Smith Family YMCA in Shawnee.

The Wolves beat the Demons 394 to 342. The Lady Wolves swam to a 397-369 victory.

Both teams opened the meet with a win in the 200-yard medley relay. Isabel Webb, Leticia Cervantez, Breeanna Lee and Jordyn Sateren won by four seconds. Trent Ogden, Kiergan Gibson, Josh Coons and Brodie Morris also picked up a four second win.

Cervantez and Aspen Chapline took the top two places in the girls' 200-yard freestyle. Cervantez was 14 seconds ahead of Chapline who was 22 seconds ahead of the next Duncan competitor.

Brodie Morris won the 200-yard freestyle on the boys' side by 21 seconds. Jordan Camacho and Bryce Halter came in at 3rd and 4th in the race.

Both Shawnee teams swept the 200-yard individual medley as well. Trent Ogden won by seven seconds and Josh Coons was six seconds ahead of the nearest Duncan competitor. Isabel Webb won the girls' race by 19 seconds over Breeanna Lee who outpaced the fastest Duncan swimmer.

Lady Wolves Sateran and Madeline Motley came in first and second in the 50-yard freestyle - less than one second apart and just ahead of their Duncan opponents. Troy Rakestraw and Austin Wiewel took 3rd and 4th in the 50-yard freestyle for the boys.

Cervantez lost by less than a second in the 100-yard butterfly. Lee came in third for the Lady Wolves.

Gibson, Coons and Austin Smallwood took the top three spots for the boys in the 100-yard butterfly.

In the 100-yard freestyle, Shawnee swimmers took second and third. Sateren and Savannah Smith came in just behind the winner from Duncan.

Brodie Morris won the 100-yard freestyle for the boys by three seconds. 

In the 500-yard freestyle, Motley took first and Kadyn Drummond took second for Shawnee.

Bryce Holter and Namer Holbert took the top two places for the boys finishing almost 30 seconds ahead of the nearest Duncan competitor.

Shawnee won both 200-yard freestyle relays and Webb and Ogden swept the 100-yard backstroke.
