Inclement weather has caused some delays; owners are now projecting a January opening.

Mother Nature just hasn't wanted to cooperate, he said.

Last week crews were finally able to pour concrete on the lot around the building.

He said all the equipment is inside, and they are ready to start putting up the awnings and signs.

“We're really close, but we've got a whole lot of little stuff to get tied up,” he said.

Brown has begun the hiring process; applications are now being accepted.

He said his operation will create more than 30 jobs.

“We need everything from cooks to managers,” he said.

Those hired quickly can already begin training, he said.

“The sooner the better,” Brown said.

The couple will run operations, as well as manage their three other stores.

The Browns had a grand opening for their Del City location in March.
