STROTHER – The Asher Indians moved to 7-6 on the season with a 53-44 win over Strother Saturday.

Asher jumped out to an 18-8 lead after the first quarter and never looked back.

By halftime, the Indians built a 34-18 lead.

The indians struggled out of the break and Strother outscored the visitors 12-5 in the third frame.

Patch Hamilton led Asher with 18 points. Juston Melton added 13 points.

The Lady Indians fell 62-21 Saturday.

Both Asher teams will travel to Varnum Tuesday and end the week at the Jim Walling tournament.
