TECUMSEH — Senior Anthony Billy posted his season scoring high, 25 points, as Tecumseh ripped Harrah 62-50 Tuesday night.

Billy, who was 10 of 21 from the field, added five rebounds and four assists.

Edward Carey netted his second straight double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds.

Kaiman Ryan and Jacob Green of Tecumseh notched seven points apiece.

Nolan Fox was Harrah’s high scorer with 15. Mason Slama added 13.

Tecumseh, 9-2, led 26-21 at halftime.

The Savages will launch play Thursday in the Stroud Tournament, squaring off against Preston at 3 p.m.


Youthful Tecumseh, up 23-18 at halftime, was outscored 31-12 in the second half and absorbed a 49-35 loss to Harrah.

Tawny Billy was Tecumseh’s sole double-figure scorer with 17, eight of which came in the opening half.

Savannah Fish was Harrah’s leading scorer with 15, followed by Katie Klinkowski with 13.

Tecumseh was 11 of 20 at the charity stripe. Harrah was 14 of 22.

The Lady Savages, 2-9, will participate in the Stroud Tournament Thursday through Saturday. Tecumseh will face Luther at 6 p.m. Thursday.
