JONES —Undefeated Jones, ranked fifth in Class 3A, blitzed McLoud 76-35 Tuesday night.

Cheyenne Banks was McLoud’s top scorer with 10. Lexi Boyer added nine points.

“They are the real deal,” said McLoud coach Doug Armstrong. “They have size, shooting and can play inside and outside.”

McLoud (7-4) will compete in the Bethany Tournament Thursday through Saturday. The Lady Redskins will go up against Catoosa at 7 p.m. Thursday in the first round.

McLoud’s boys dropped a 49-44 decision to Jones. The game was tied at 41 when The Redskins fouled on back-to-back possessions and Jones took advantage at the free-throw line.

McLoud will face Catoosa at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at the Bethany Tournament.
