Shawnee continued to climb the 6A rankings as the 11-0 Lady Wolves jumped to No. 3 by the slimmest of margins over Norman North. Top-ranked PC West received 553 points in the voting on 23 first-place votes. No. 2 Edmond Memorial has 501 total points in the voting and the Lady Wolves have 486 - including three first-place votes. Norman North received 484 points in the voting.

The 5-4 Wolves jumped to No. 17 in this week's rankings. The Wolves play Newcastle in the East Central Tournament in Ada Thursday morning.

Seminole stayed at No. 14 this week in the 4A rankings and the Prague girls fell to No. 13 at 6-3. The Chieftains play Cushing at the Stroud Tournament Thursday. The Lady Red Devils play at the Ripley Tournament Thursday.

Both Dale squads remain atop the 2A rankings but the voting margin has shrunk for both. The Lady Pirates received less than half of the first place votes this week. They have 1,373 points compared to No. 2 Hoe's 1,340. Dale had 37 first-place votes and Howe received 28. Four other teams received at least one first-place vote.

The Pirates received less than half of the first place votes as well.

They received 38 first place votes and 1,423 points. No. 2 Hennesey received 28 first place votes and 1,383 points. Seven other teams received first-place votes. Even No. 15 Hobart received a first-place vote. Obviously, 2A is wide open.

Dale beat Preston Tuesday and play Tishomingo at the Kingston Tournament Thursday.

The Lady Pirates rebounded from their first loss with a 24-point win over Preston and they will take on Rock Creek in the Kingston Tournament Thursday.
