The libraries and offices of the Pioneer Library System will be closed on Monday, Jan. 21, for observation of Martin Luther King Day.

The holiday, signed into law by President Ronald Reagan in 1983, was first observed in 1986 and honors the civil rights leader.

All libraries will reopen for their regular hours on Tuesday, Jan. 22.
