• Check out the animals: Pet adoptions by Forgotten Treasures Rescue will be from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday in Shawnee's PetSmart store, at 4850 Marketplace Blvd. Suite 100.

• Work out at the Shawnee Senior Center: Residents will have ZUMBA lessons from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Saturday with Candi Rodriquez at 401 N. Bell. Cost is $5.

• Become involved: The monthly meeting of Indivisible Shawnee will meet at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Shawnee Public Library, 101 N. Philadelphia Ave. The agenda will focus on designing the itinerary for 2019 and the group welcomes input from the Chairwoman of the Oklahoma Democratic party Anna Langthorn.

• Watch agility trials: On Sunday, canine agility trials will be held at the Heart of Oklahoma Exposition Center in the Fred Humphrey building, Section G. The Red Dirt Agility is an all-breed AKC club founded in 2009 and has all types of dogs, from Chihuahuas, Border Collies and Shelties to German Shepherds and Weimaraners.

The club’s main goal is to further AKC agility in the Oklahoma City metro area with agility trials, educational seminars, and demonstrations.

There will be 660 runs per day with plenty of crating space and judges Candy Nettles and Gene Downing.
