ADA – Basketball fans in Ada were treated to an extra period of basketball Friday.

The Class 6A No. 17 Shawnee had two shots at a game winner, one at the end of regulation and the other in overtime. Both shots came up short and Shawnee lost 47-46 to 5A No. 11 Collinsville.

Shawnee led 19-16 at halftime.

Jaylon Orange led the Wolves in scoring through two quarters with five points.

Collinsville outscored Shawnee 13-10 in the fourth quarter and the teams scored eight apiece in the fourth quarter.

DeAndre Love led Shawnee with 10 points and eight rebounds. Orange finished with nine points.

Shawnee will play in the third place game Saturday at 5:30 p.m.
