ASHER — Bailey Larman and Sarah Fleming were the vital factors in Asher’s 48-37 triumph over Maud Tuesday night.

Larman, the game’s high scorer with 24, and Fleming, with 10 points, both garnered 12 rebounds.

Asher outscored Maud 30-23 in the closing half.

Allison Riddle fueled Maud offensively with 16 points. Megan Gee put in 13.

Maud shined at the free-throw line at 11 of 12. Riddle was 4 of 4.

Asher was just 1 of 8 at the line.

Boys

Patch Hamilton scored 26 points and Asher won 66-39 over Maud in the nightcap.

The Indians were up 25-20 at intermission.

Chase Eckart added 13 points in the win.

Mike McDonald was the third Asher player in double figures.

Rodney Ray led Maud with 22 points.

Both Asher squads will play at Vanoss Friday night.
