The Shawnee Lady Wolves keep winning and keep climbing in the 6A rankings. After two tough losses to Norman and Norman North, Edmond Memorial dropped from No. 2 to No. 4 as Shawnee and Norman North rose.

The Lady Wolves (11-0) are now ranked No. 2 in 6A behind only 13-1 Putnam City West. PC West, whose only loss was to Dallas Skyline early in the season, received 24 first-place votes and the Lady Wolves received four.

The Wolves are still ranked but they dropped from No. 17 to No. 18 after taking third place in a tournament in Ada. Shawnee is back in action Friday night at El Reno whose girls are No. 11 in 5A and boys are No. 3

Dale stayed on top of the rankings on both the girls and boys side this week.

The Lady Pirates swept their way through the Kingston Tournament, including a 10-point win over 2A No. 2 Howe. The loss to Dale didn't drop Howe in the rankings, but the margin between the two teams grew.

The Pirates stayed at No. 1 after taking third in the Kingston Tournament. They lost to No. 7 Rock Creek in the semifinals. The Pirates are the best of the deepest class in Oklahoma. Eleven different 2A teams received first-place votes.

Seminole's Chieftains fell to No. 16 in 4A after a loss to No. 6 Mannford in a tournament championship. The 9-2 Chieftains have a homecoming game against Holdenville Friday night.

Prague's Lady Red Devils are the only other ranked team in the area. The Lady Red Devils are No. 14 after losing to Keifer and beating Chandler twice. They play at Meeker Friday.
