Robert Warren Cassingham, 91, died Dec. 30, 2018, in Dallas, Texas.

Born in Enid to Robert Lee Cassingham and Hazel Mae Warren Cassingham, he lived in Wichita, Kansas, and Shawnee, graduating from Shawnee High School. After attending Oklahoma Baptist University and serving in the Navy, Bob earned Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Oklahoma.

Survivors are his wife, Louise Powell Cassingham; daughter Margaret Schieffer (Paul) of Dallas; sons Robert Cassingham (Edie) of Aiken, South Carolina, and Paul Cassingham (Patricia) of New Orleans; seven adult grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Bob and Louise met at OU, married in El Reno following graduation, and began work for the California Oil Company, now Chevron, in New Orleans, eventually moving to Rumbai, Sumatra, Indonesia and Bakersfield, California, before retiring to Meadowlakes, Texas, and Dallas.
