STROUD – The Prague Red Devils started out the Route 66 Conference Tournament with a bang, beating Meeker 80-41 in opening round action Monday.
Prague led 15-7 and was in control the rest of the way.
By halftime the Red Devils held a 32-21 advantage. Isaac Bloomer led Prague with 13 points in the first half.
The Red Devils had 12 players score in the win. Bloomer led with a game-high 18 points. Brayden McGinnis finished with 10 points.
Levi Hayes, Kade Brewster and Gavin Hale scored seven points apiece for Meeker.
Prague shot 11 of 13 from the charity stripe, while Meeker made 16 of 24 throws.
Prague will play Okemah at 5:20 p.m. Thursday, while Meeker will move to the consolation bracket.
