SHAWNEE – All 10 Lady Wolves scored in Shawnee's dominating 59-16 victory over Duncan in the first round of the 2019 Vision Bank Shawnee Invitational Thursday morning.

Duncan scored first but Shawnee picked up the pace and closed out the first quarter leading 18-6.

By halftime, Shawnee extended their lead to 31-8. Fields led the Lady Wolves with 12 points in the first half.

Ashley Kasterke came off the bench and led the team with 17 points on 8-of-9 shooting.

Fields finished with 16 points, three rebounds, two steals and one block.

Aubrie Megehee struggled shooting the ball, but filled up the stat sheet, registering four points, four steals three rebounds, three blocks and two assists.

Shawnee recorded 19 steals in the victory and made all four of its free throw attempts.

Shawnee will face the winner of El Reno – Stillwater Friday at 7 p.m.


The Shawnee Wolves came up short against Stillwater, losing 68-58 in their first round matchup.

Stillwater led 16-11 after the first quarter and held a 37-33 lead at intermission. Freshman Jaylon Orange scored nine points in the half.

J'Briell Easley knocked down a three-pointer in the third quarter that gave Shawnee a 39-37 advantage.

Shawnee led most of the third quarter, but with less than a minute remaining in the third quarter, Stillwater regained the lead. Through the third quarter Stillwater led 54-49.

Orange led Shawnee with 16 points. Easley added 10 points in the losing effort.

Stillwater's Hunter Staten had a game-high 31 points.

The Wolves will face the loser of Norman North – Southeast Friday at 11:30 a.m.
