STROUD —Prague’s Red Devils tallied five points in the final .5 seconds Thursday night for a stunning 45-43 triumph over Okemah in a semifinal matchup at the 66 Conference Tournament.

Senior Haden Hale, off a pass from Brayden McGinnis, connected on a 3-point field goal to tie the game at 43 with .5 seconds remaining. Okemah then attempted a full-court pass but the ball sailed out of bounds, giving Prague possession under its basket.

Coach Nate Greer’s squad then worked a tip play and Isaac Bloomer hit the game-winning shot off the inbounds pass.

“Our kids executed what we’ve been working on all week,” Greer said. “We put the tip play in Wednesday.”

Prague, 14-3, moves on to Saturday’s 7:30 championship game against Seminole, a 71-50 semifinal winner over McLoud.

Prague’s losses this season have been to Okemah, Seminole and Guthrie.

Prague’s girls will meet McLoud at 6:40 tonight in a semifinal matchup.
