Stacey Ruth Bizzell, McLoud resident, passed away Sunday, Jan. 20, 2019, in Tecumseh, at the age of 55.

Stacey Ruth Bizzell, McLoud resident, passed away Sunday, Jan. 20, 2019, in Tecumseh, at the age of 55.

Stacey was born Nov. 3, 1963, in Seminole to Leroy Edgell and Ida Nell (Spencer) Timmons.

Stacey graduated from Varnum High School, and after 23 years she retired from Exxon Mobil as a product specialist.

Stacey married John Bizzell on May 30, 1998, in Seminole.

Stacey loved her family, holidays and get togethers with grandkids. She liked to cook, bake, and go to garage and yard sales. Stacey was a happy girl who liked the simple life — sitting on the porch watching the humming birds, thunder storms, and being outside. She loved roses and her little dog Nellie.

Stacey is survived by her husband John Bizzell of McLoud; three sons, Justin Lankford, Austin Bizzell and his wife Beth of Meeker, and step-son, Michael Botkin; one daughter, Jennifer Cahill and her husband Josh of Meeker; three brothers, Terry Edgell and his wife Carol of Seminole, Randy Edgell of Seminole, Mark Spencer of Seminole; one sister, Kim Spencer; mother-in-law, Jane Armstrong and her husband Bill of Shawnee; father-in-law O.Z. Bizzell of Shawnee; brother-in-law, Glen Davidson and his wife Kim of Shawnee; sister-in-law, Tanya Bizzell of Shawnee; six grandchildren, Kolby Quinalty, Caden Madden, Emily Bizzell, Kiera Bizzell, Bryston Bizzell and Carson Bizzell.

Stacey was preceded in death by her father, Leroy Edgell and mother, Ida Spencer.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Friday, Jan. 25, at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel with Brother James Jackson and Pastor Jeff Nance officiating. Burial will take place at Little Cemetery, Seminole County.

Casket bearers will be Austin Bizzell, Justin Lankford, Joshua Cahill, Harlen Edgell, Terry Edgell and Randy Edgell, and honorary casket bearers will be Sid Spencer, Bobby Anderson, Rex Treat and Larry Welch.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Seminole.
