Oklahoma Baptist (10-7, 9-2) vs. UAM (10-7, 6-5)


Oklahoma Baptist hosts the University of Arkansas at Monticello at the Noble Complex with tip off scheduled for 3 p.m., Saturday

As part of OBU Athletics' "Fanuary" campaign, Saturday has been designated "Take a Kid to the Game" with free admission for children 12 and under with an accompanying adult

Oklahoma Baptist is 10-7 overall and 9-2 GAC, tied with Southern Nazarene and Southern Arkansas atop the league…OBU has won six of its last seven games...The Bison are 7-3 at home with losses to Rogers State (82-80), Central Oklahoma (77-74) and Southern Nazarene (58-57).

Arkansas Monticello is 10-7 overall and 6-5 GAC, alone in seventh place…UAM has lost four straight after an eight-game win streak…They are 4-4 on the road with victories against Arkansas-Fort Smith (69-59), Henderson State (73-58), Southwestern Oklahoma (67-65), and Northwestern Oklahoma (75-74 OT). AUM finished 19-12 last year and advanced to the GAC Tournament Championship losing 67-57 to Southern Nazarene…Keelin Jackson, the team's fifth-leading scorer, is UAM's top returner…He averaged 7.3 ppg.

Arkansas Monticello – Kyle Tolin (Oklahoma Baptist) 60-46 (56.6%), fourth season


Teams are meeting for the seventh time…UAM leads 6-0.

UAM won 74-65 in the last meeting in Monticello, Ark. On Jan. 27, 2018…Chandler Rickey had 20 points to lead OBU while Derylton Hill added 21 for the winners.


OBU won 88-72 over GAC leader Southern Arkansas at home Thursday…Brantly Thomson scored 18 points as the Bison shot a season-best 56.5 percent against NCAA Division II competition.

UAM lost 73-49 at Southern Nazarene in Bethany Thursday. UAM had season lows in shooting percentage (29.8) and points (49) against the defending league champion.


OBU is first in the GAC in scoring averaging 83.4 ppg…The Bison have scored 90 or more points four times this year, winning three.

Antonio Wade leads the team in scoring (16.6 ppg.), assists (88), steals (18)…Scored 36 points against NWOSU, behind SWOSU's Tre Evans 40 vs. SNU and ATU's R.J. Glasper 37 vs. SWOSU.

Harrison Stoddart has matched his season-high of 16 points three times this year, including back-to-back games against Northwestern Oklahoma and Southern Arkansas.

Davion Turner has moved into seventh place in three-point field goals made (37)…Has made 14 three pointers over the last four games, including four in each of last the last two games.


UAM is the lowest scoring team in the GAC, averaging 69.1 ppg…They have scored over 80 points just twice this year – Centenary (80) and Ecclesia (83)

Austin Hardy is the only UAM player to score more than 30 points in a game…He had 32 in a December win against Ouachita Baptist.
