ASHER – The Asher Indians, fresh off a Pottawatomie County Tournament championship, picked up where they left off Saturday as they beat Macomb 60-29 Tuesday evening.

Asher led 12-4 at the end of the first quarter and slowly built their lead the rest of the way.

By halftime, Asher led 27-10. Hamilton scored 16 points in the first half and finished with a game-high 21.

Asher's Mike McDonald scored eight points in the third quarter, compared to Macomb's six third-quarter points. McDonald ended up with 10 points in the win.

Matt Denney and AJ Harrison led Macomb with six points apiece.

Coach Scott Hamilton emptied his bench in the fourth quarter and Bryson Martin scored all eight of his points in the final frame.

Asher (15-8) will host Class A No. 20 Roff Friday and Macomb will host Moss.
