The Seminole State Trojans softball team went 5-0 over the weekend and three area graduates contributed to its success.

Over the two-day road trip, Seminole State picked up wins over Cowley County Community College (18-8), Luna Community College (7-0), Ranger College (18-10), Laredo College (8-6) and Coastal Bent (5-1).

Sophomore infielder Tarin Dubler, an Asher High School graduate, came away with a .409 batting average and scored eight times. Both of Dubler's extra-base hits came in the 7-0 triumph over Luna Community College. Through five games, Dubler has three multi-hit games.

So far on the season, Jocee Sparks, a 2018 Maud High School graduate, is batting .438 and scored three runs. She's drawn six walks and has three multi-hit games.

Sophomore outfielder and Tecumseh graduate Suni Meeley ranks second on the team with four stolen bases. She's also batting .385, recorded five hits and scored five runs. Meeley's noteworthy performance came in the 18-10 victory over Ranger College where she scored three times and drove in two runs.

Seminole State will return to action Feb. 8 with a road doubleheader against Vernon College.
