Next month a Shawnee artist will be featured at Exhibit C art gallery in Oklahoma City.
A new art show featuring 12 Native American artists starts March 1 at Exhibit C. The show is called “Blazing a Trail” and it examines the role of horses in Native American culture.
As part of opening weekend, Tony Tiger, a Native American artist from Shawnee, will begin painting a life-sized horse sculpture.
The sculpture is about seven feet tall. Once finished, the sculpture will permanently be displayed at Exhibit C.
Tiger will be doing the live painting at an artist reception from 2-5 p.m. Sunday, March 3.
