CLAREMORE – The Shawnee Lady Wolves advanced to the Class 6A State Tournament with a 55-48 triumph over Moore Saturday.

Shawnee led 13-7 after the first quarter and extended the lead to 31-17 at halftime.

Four Lady Wolves scored in double figures.

Lauren Fields led the charge with 16 points. The senior guard added seven rebounds and two steals.

Ashley Kasterke added 14 points and canned 2 three-pointers in the win.

Aubrie Megehee and Makyra Tramble added 10 points apiece.

Shawnee knocked down four treys and made 9 of 18 free-throw attempts.

The Lady Wolves won the rebounding battle, hauling in 30 boards, compared to 21 for the opposition.

With the win, the Lady Wolves improved to 25-1 on the season.

Shawnee will play Edmond Santa Fe Thursday at Tulsa Memorial High School. Tip is set for 3:30 p.m
