• JUNK UTOPIA returns to Shawnee for its third year: JUNK UTOPIA returns to Shawnee on Saturday, March 9, at the Heart of Oklahoma Exposition Center. Whether you’re into upcycling, shabby chic or just dreaming about finding that elusive diamond in the rough, this picker’s paradise has a little bit of everything. A wide variety of vendors will be on hand specializing in all types of high-quality vintage and antique items, handmade goods and boutiques. Admission is free.

• Breakfast in Maud for a cause: Maud Masons will have their fundraiser breakfast from 7:30 to 10 a.m. Saturday, March 9. The meal is $6 for all you can eat eggs, pancakes, ham, sausage, biscuits and gravy, coffee and juice.

• Check out Indivisible Shawnee: The monthly meeting of Indivisible Shawnee will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 10. The venue has changed to Elevated Grounds, 3930-5 N. Kickapoo for the month of March only. The featured speaker will be Taylor Adcock of Central Disposal who will discuss recycling in Shawnee and the changing recycling environment.

• Enjoy the annual Turkey Noodle Dinner: The Tecumseh Alumni Association in partnership with the Tecumseh Masonic Lodge will host the annual turkey noodle dinner Sunday, March 10, to raise money for the THS Scholarship Fund, Alumni Paper and Banquet. The event will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Tecumseh Alumni Building, located on the campus of Tecumseh High School. A buffet of hot homemade turkey and noodles, cole slaw, green beans, drinks, hot rolls and and pies will be served. Plates are $8 for adults and $4 for children.
