Stillwater also scored three times in the first and twice in the fourth.

Shawnee averted a shutout with two runs in the bottom of the fifth.

Krew Taylor led Shawnee’s eight-hit attack with three singles in three official at-bats and scored once.

SHS leadoff hitter Scout Cawvey posted a single and scored Shawnee’s other run.

No other Shawnee player had more than one hit.

Stillwater collected 12 hits, including one double, to go along with four walks.

Two Stillwater pitchers combined to walk just one Shawnee batter.

Shawnee committed three errors while Stillwater was errorless.

Shawnee, 0-5, will entertain Noble at 5 p.m. today.
