Wilburton – Fresh off an upset of Class B No. 2 Drummond Monday, Asher did it again with a 10-3 dismantling of No. 2 Red Oak Tuesday evening.

The fifth-ranked Indians scored first with three runs coming in the first inning. Asher tacked on one in the fourth and one in the sixth. The bats came alive in the top of the seventh as the Indians scored five more runs to put away the Eagles.

Trevor Martin had a team-high two hits in the win. He also drove in two and walked twice.

Jake Dobbs, Patch Hamilton, Austin Custar, Bryson Martin and Dylan Williams each recorded one hit in the win.

Red Oak committed six errors in the game compared to three for the Indians.

In the first game of the day, Asher fell to Drummond 6-2.

Trevor Martin was lights out for much of his start, striking out 14 over 6 1/3 innings.

At the plate, the Indians scattered three hits over seven innings.

Asher (6-2) will host Prague Friday. First pitch is scheduled for 3:30 p.m.
