PHOENIX – The Tecumseh Savages haven't found success on the opening leg of their Arizona trip.

Tecumseh dropped a 4-1 decision to Fossil Ridge Tuesday and struggled with Pinnacle, losing 25-6

Monday.

In Tuesday's action, Jayden Schafer brought Gage Boatman home with a single in the bottom of the

sixth inning.

Boatman had the only extra-base hit and stolen base for the Savages.

Tyler Thompson received the start, lasting 3 1/3 innings and striking out four. Thompson was the

pitcher responsible for the four runs.

Colby Trammell and Tristin Anthony pitched in relief and combined for four strikeouts.

Kaine Ainesworth and Anthony each recorded a double in Monday's loss.

Tecumseh (4-3) will finish up the Arizona road trip with a game Wednesday against Kellis and the

finale Friday versus Saint Mary's.

The Savage will return to Oklahoma March 25 with a road tilt against Bethel.
